RICK HOCKER

Rick is the author of Four in the Garden: A Spiritual Allegory About Trust. It is a radical retelling of the Garden of Eden story, but with a twist. Instead of creating a companion for the first human, Creator wants to be the trusted companion.

In 2015, Four in the Garden won an award from the Reader's Favorite book award contest. Rick flew to Miami, Florida, to receive his award in person.

Rick has completed his second novel, A Convoluted Lie, a mystery thriller, and is currenly researching agents to represent him to publishers. In this story, a woman finds tattoos on her scalp that cause her to face her painful past. As she uncovers the truth of her past and tries to solve the mystery of her tattoos, she puts herself in increasing danger.

Rick enjoys writing fiction novels that touch on spirituality. His writing reflects his belief in a spiritual reality where God can be known personally and intimately.
